CHRISTMAS PARTY...

Each year the Town Council host a Christmas Party for the local Senior Citizens.  This event has been held for a number of years and is still as popular as ever.

The Senior Citizens Christmas Party, held on Wednesday, 7th December 2011 at The Venue, Stocksbridge was a huge success with over 150 elderly residents in attendance.  Thanks must go to Sam, Julie and the team of volunteer waitresses for doing a great job of looking after everybody and ensuring that everyone had a good time and in particular Helen and her mum for doing such a wonderful job of the catering. Entertainment was provided by Richie Rich and bingo was played.
