Our Recent Activities
We recently took part in a successful community event for the
over 50's held at Stocksbridge Library.
We are helping to increase the home security of elderly and
vulnerable people by providing smoke alarms, door viewers,
door chains and additional door locks.
We have arranged for the installation of a bench for use by
the tenants at Balfour House sheltered scheme.
We have contacted Tenant Levy payers in other parts of the
Lower Don Valley that do not have a Tenants and Residents
Association (e.g. Wharncliffe Side & Oughtibridge) and offered
to either help them set up their own organisation or to join
with us.
Residents pay an annual fee of £5. To join please contact
the secretary. Committee meetings are held on the third Thursday
of each month. 10.30am - 12 noon, at Horner House, Stocksbridge.
