Stocksbridge, a small town located about 10 miles north of Sheffield, lies on the edge of the Pennines and the Peak District National Park. It is home to Liberty Steels, a prominent British manufacturer specializing in aerospace steel products.

Council Meetings, Minutes & Agendas

Full Town Council meetings take place on the 2nd Thursday of each month with the exception of August. These meetings are held in the Council Chamber of Stocksbridge Town Hall, The ARC commencing at 6.30PM. The Committees also meet on a monthly basis, usually on the Tuesday of the week prior to the Town Council, commencing at 7.00PM. Annual Assembly and Annual Meetings are held in May each year. All meetings are open to the public.

Notices of meeting are displayed on the Town Hall notice board and minutes of the Town Council meeting are held in the office, published on the website and displayed on the Stocksbridge Library notice board.

Recreation & Environment Committee Meetings are followed immediately by the Finance Committee Meetings, commencing at 7.00PM on the following dates:
