Stocksbridge, a small town located about 10 miles north of Sheffield, lies on the edge of the Pennines and the Peak District National Park. It is home to Liberty Steels, a prominent British manufacturer specializing in aerospace steel products.
Stocksbridge Town Council held it’s Senior Citizen’s Christmas party at The Venue yesterday. Another successful event, with excellent food and service provided by the staff and volunteers at The STEP Venue Stocksbridge.
This event is about celebrating our older residents, who are the heart of this community, and is just one small way for the Council to say thank you.
Entertainment was provided by Bolsterstone Male Voice Choir and the Waldershelf Singers, followed by a few games of bingo and a raffle.
The Town Council would like to thank everyone who attended and got involved to ensure the party went smoothly.
